QUALIFICATIONS:

· Extensive experience in IT operations, including end-user support, network administration, server management, and cloud platform expertise (Azure or equivalent).
· Advanced proficiency in email systems, DNS configuration, foundational IT protocols, and cybersecurity frameworks.
· Proven expertise in designing and implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions, emphasizing data integrity and availability.
· Outstanding customer-facing communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for diverse audiences.
· Superior analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex technical and security issues under pressure while maintaining a positive stakeholder experience.
· Exceptional interpersonal abilities, with a customer-centric mindset and a track record of building trust and rapport with end-users and leadership.
· Industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, ITIL Foundation, Certified Information Systems Security Professional [CISSP]) are highly advantageous.
· Ability to excel both independently and collaboratively in a high-performance, security-conscious, and customer-focused environment.

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

· 5+ years of related Information Technology experience
· Associate’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with relevant professional experience
· High school diploma
· Extensive proven IT certifications and demonstrable technical expertise

Responsibilities

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· End-User Support: Deliver expert-level troubleshooting for desktop systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues with efficiency and a customer-first approach.
· Network Management: Design, configure, and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless systems, ensuring secure and reliable performance.
· Server Operations: Administer physical and virtual server environments (e.g., Windows Server, Linux), managing maintenance, security updates, backups, and performance optimization.
· Cloud Infrastructure: Oversee and optimize cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, including virtual machines, storage solutions, identity management, and resource orchestration.
· Messaging Systems: Manage email and collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Exchange, Office 365), ensuring seamless operation, DNS integrity (MX, SPF, DKIM), and user accessibility.
· Protocol Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of IT protocols (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, SMTP, HTTP/S) to troubleshoot issues and enhance system reliability.
· Cybersecurity Leadership: Protect systems and data through advanced security measures, including intrusion detection, endpoint protection, vulnerability assessments, and incident response protocols.
· Backup and Recovery: Implement best-in-class backup strategies, ensuring regular data backups, offsite storage, and rapid recovery capabilities to minimize downtime and protect against data loss.
· Customer Engagement: Serve as a trusted point of contact for end-users and stakeholders, leveraging exceptional communication skills to explain technical solutions, manage expectations, and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy.
· Escalation Leadership: Act as an escalation point for complex technical and security incidents, delivering swift resolutions while maintaining clear, concise communication with affected parties.
· Security Oversight: Enforce cybersecurity standards across all systems, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices for access control, patch management, and threat mitigation.
· Stakeholder Enablement: Build strong relationships with end-users and teams by providing technical training, enhancing security awareness, and streamlining workflows with a focus on customer satisfaction.
· Strategic Innovation: Identify opportunities to integrate cutting-edge technologies, strengthen cybersecurity posture, and refine backup processes, all while aligning solutions with stakeholder needs.
