Description

Elmbridge UK is a privately owned, family-run business based in Gloucester, specialising in coatings, spray equipment, and finishing solutions for manufacturing and fabrication industries. Established in 1976, the company has evolved from engineering supplies to offering a comprehensive range of products and services, including industrial and wood coatings, equipment and spray shop facilities.
We’re a fast paced, growing buy-sell business with circa 50 staff - and technology sits at the heart of how we operate. As we move into our next phase of growth, including migrating our on-premises servers to a secure cloud environment, we’re looking for an experienced and hands-on IT Engineer to lead the way. This position is ideal for someone seeking a part-time position, with the workload expected to fit a 25-hour week.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of project work and daily IT operations, and wants to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative, forward-thinking business.

What you will be doing:

  • Leading the migration of our server infrastructure to the cloud
  • Supporting day-to-day IT needs across the business - hardware, software, and networks
  • Managing infrastructure, systems security, backups, and user support
  • Coordinating IT projects including upgrades, rollouts, and tech integrations
  • Ensuring best practice IT procedures and cybersecurity compliance
  • Building strong relationships with our team and helping everyone stay productive and secure

What you will bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT support, engineering, or systems administration
  • Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and networking fundamentals
  • Hands on experience with cloud platforms and cloud migration projects
  • A proactive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and great communication skills
  • A desire to modernise, improve, and grow with the business

What we offer:

  • A key role in shaping our IT future, including full involvement in our cloud transformation
  • A supportive, people-first culture and room to take ownership
  • Exposure to a broad range of technologies in a collaborative environment
  • Competitive salary and benefits

Ready to make an impact? Apply now and help us take our systems to the next level
