Description
Plan, design, and analyze costs of network (wired and wireless), voice, data, and video infrastructure for mergers, acquisitions, and new/existing site construction or expansion. Determine the needs of the site (bandwidth, network, etc.). Research new equipment based on needs and end of life for the equipment based on the IT Roadmap. Minimize the cost of new equipment within budget constraints. Analyze, compare, and determine the cost of implementing new technology or services. Participate in the project planning process. Determine, recommend, and coordinate needed equipment (routers, circuits, concentrators, switches, servers, etc.). Define the timeline for interaction with vendors, service providers, and business units for integration of services and systems. Coordinate and facilitate the integration and support for new equipment. Optimize the performance of new equipment. Determine equipment that needs to be retired and the replacement. Require a Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent experience in Information System/Communication/Computer Science/Electronics/Network Engineering or equivalent Knowledge in Python Programming language Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Passion to tackle business problems with application of technology Good communication and interpersonal skills with a problem-solving attitude Academic know-how or internship experiences in the Infrastructure domain of IT with Knowledge of management of Network and Wireless technologies Desire to learn Network Appliances like DNS, DHCP, Loadbalancer, Firewall and Monitoring tools.
