Learn more at TradeBeyond.com The Role IT Engineer plays a vital role in maintaining operational excellence throughout the business, supporting both infrastructure delivery and user support. He/she will work closely with several key stakeholders across IT, Project, and Operations, as well as maintain strong collaboration with the global Teams. Responsibilities Set up MacBooks and laptops for both local and remote office users. Manage and support IT infrastructure, including computer hardware, networks, application software, system backups, and configurations. Serve as the focal and escalation point for incident and problem management, collaborating closely with regional IT teams on IT infrastructure, end user computing, and application support. Oversee IT inventory management, maintain IT documentation and reporting, and manage IT facilities. Monitor IT services, implement improvements, and ensure delivery of high-quality service. Ensure compliance with company IT policies, and provide occasional IT and DevOps support outside regular office hours. Collaborating with peers, key stakeholders, and the global IT Team to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services, as well as effective service recovery during outages. Exercise prudence and maintain cost awareness in IT spending during hardware refresh and repair activities. Requirements Higher Diploma in IT related disciplines 3–5 years of IT and helpdesk support, and maintenance experience. Proven ability to contribute as a technical team member on projects. Skilled in Linux system administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Linux environments. Experienced with Windows Server and firewalls such as SonicWall and Fortinet. Strong background in incident and problem management. Demonstrates effective communication skills, with experience managing diverse stakeholders across the organization. Track record of supporting critical applications and delivering results under tight deadlines. Motivated, proactive, and independent, consistently anticipating problems and working effectively within local and global team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in Cantonese, both spoken and written, with moderate proficiency English and Mandarin.
