You will oversee technical delivery, system health, and talent development across key engineering functions and Infrastructure Automation. What you will do As the Engineering Manager, you will lead pool of engineers and be accountable for the technical health, delivery, and talent development within Global Stores and Supply Chain Engineering Common Services. You will drive engineering excellence, foster innovation, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and business goals. Key Responsibilities: Manage multiple engineers for one or more product or technical domains in an agile environment. Coach and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning Drive adoption of engineering best practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and secure coding Provide technical oversight for the design, development, and deployment of scalable data, monitoring, and infrastructure solutions Align engineering roadmaps with enterprise architecture and stores & supply chain strategies Ensure operational excellence and accountability for system performance, uptime, and delivery metrics Act as a key escalation point for technical delivery and production issues Promote innovation and the adoption of emerging technologies to support evolving business needs Oversee the development of data pipelines and integrations to support analytics, reporting, and operational visibility Partner with IT and business leaders across Stores and Distribution to deliver impactful, scalable solutions Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of experience leading and developing engineering teams. Strong organizational and team management skills, with experience leading global teams. Proven performance management skills including coaching, goal setting, and accountability. 3+ years of experience with enterprise Windows Server and x86 hardware platform management. Including and understanding of AD, Networking, PowerShell and Hardware systems. Wintel Databases Wintel windows server mobile device management core competencies 3 + years of experience in test planning and execution Solid understanding of supply chain operations, including material handling, warehouse management systems, environmental controls, and access control systems. Perform hands on configuration, development and implementation on Xstore POS work as needed Familiarity with enterprise applications such as Oracle Xstore, UKG Workforce Management, and Manhattan WMS. Demonstrated success in building and supporting scalable, high-performance applications. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience with enterprise TLM management a plus. Experience with PowerShell, Ansible, SCCM, Networking, Servers and remote management helpful. Understanding of Oracle Xstore Suite, UKG Workforce Management & Manhattan WMS will be good but not necessary Experience with monitoring and analytics tool development. Familiarity with payment processing technologies and retail operations. Experience with Java, Oracle DB, REST APIs, and cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure). SAFe Agile certifications are a plus. Exposure to application integration (REST, SOAP, data exchange) and diverse application portfolios.
