Avalign Technologies is seeking highly skilled IT ERP Solution and Development Engineer to join our IT team as a hands-on leader. In this position, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the Epicor ERP System. You will collaborate with cross-functional business units to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that support Avalign’ s strategic goals. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and deploy Epicor solutions in alignment with SDLC standards. Provide advanced (Level 2 & 3) application support, including issue resolution, root cause analysis, and performance tuning. Translate business requirements into robust technical designs through close collaboration with stakeholders. Support strategic initiatives such as system integrations, application modernization, and cloud migrations. Ensure high standards of documentation, including system design, configurations, and coding practices. Maintain compliance with IT governance, security policies, and regulatory requirements. Provide timely escalation of issues with actionable resolution options. Occasional travel (up to 10%) for team meetings or project execution. Required Qualifications: Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field. Minimum 5 years of Epicor development experience. Experience in regulated industries (e.g., medical device, pharmaceuticals) is a plus. Knowledge of Epicor business processes specifically to manufacturing. Technical Skills Epicor Kinetic 10 and higher In-depth knowledge in building enhancements and capabilities in Epicor using the following: BPM (C#, Data Directives, Method Directives, Functions, etc.) Dashboards BAQ (Internal/External) Report Style SSRS UI Development (Form Customizations / Kinetic Web) UD Fields UD Tables Epicor Business Objects / API Experience developing solutions in Microsoft SQL Server using Stored Procedures and Views. Experience with Epicor’s DMT tool Knowledge of database maintenance like back-up and restore, basic performance troubleshooting and fine tuning. Experience managing Epicor Administration Console including: Regen / Recycle Deployment of Epicor App Pools Managing Epicor Agent Servers App Configuration System Security Knowledge in ETL tools like SSIS Knowledge in deploying and maintaining Epicor Clients (Local, Remote Desktop Apps) Working knowledge with Epicor third party integrations, such as but not limited to: Bartender, QuickShip, ECM (previously known as DocStar), Mobile Warehouse) Working knowledge of networking computers, data processing methodology and techniques in creating documentation and data security. Leadership & Soft Skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communicator able to explain technical solutions to non-technical audiences. Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure. Dedicated to continuous learning and professional development.
