OVERVIEW

Responsible for providing day-to-day support to end-users while ensuring efficiency, reliability and security to maintain operational efficiencies. To continually review and update systems with the objective of delivering consistent and high quality services. Preserve assets, information security and ensure cost effectiveness to improve infrastructure.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant working experience
  • Working experience in the Architectural or construction industry will be an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and best practices.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, team player with positive attitude
Responsibilities
  • Provide daily end-users support including troubleshooting hardware, software and network related issues
  • Manage user accounts, email, file directory, file permissions etc
  • Assess and provide relevant software/hardware tools to staff for job efficiency
  • Oversee and ensure timely technical support to all users
  • Manage and monitor servers and network infrastructure
  • Monitor IT infrastructure such firewalls, VPNs, servers and data center to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Monitor and ensure regular backups and disaster recovery plans are in place
  • Identify potential security weaknesses and risks to make improvements in the company’s IT security
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks
  • Provide technical guidance and oversee troubleshooting of complex IT issues
  • Liaise with vendors to ensure quality and cost-effective procurement of IT equipment and services to continuous improving the infrastructure
  • Provide assistant and support to all IT administrative task and any projects/duties assigned
  • Handle incident, problem and change management processes efficiently
  • Conduct periodic review and assessment of IT competences of the company and to recommend staff training and upgrading where required
