Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

Washmen is seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Executive to manage and maintain our intranet systems and provide technical support across multiple office locations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of network and asset management, with hands-on experience in maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting of IT systems. This role involves commuting between sites to ensure seamless IT operations and addressing any on-site technical needs.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

- - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- - Strong experience in network management, IT support, and asset management.
- - Hands-on experience with hardware installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- - Familiarity with managing intranet systems and internal networks.
- - Ability to commute between Washmen office locations for on-site support and installations.
- - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach.
- - Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with other departments and staff.

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:

- - Familiarity with cloud-based technologies like AWS or Azure is a plus but not required.
- - Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar are a bonus but not essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Intranet and Network Management:

    • Oversee and maintain Washmen’s intranet systems, ensuring consistent and reliable network performance.


      • Manage internal networks and address any issues, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth day-to-day operations.

      • Asset Management:

        • Track and manage IT assets across all Washmen locations, including hardware, software, and licenses.


          • Handle procurement, lifecycle management, and decommissioning of IT equipment, ensuring accurate inventory records.

          • Technical Support and Maintenance:

            • Provide on-site technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues across Washmen offices.


              • Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, such as desktops, laptops, printers, and networking devices.


                • Perform regular system updates and maintenance to ensure optimal performance of all IT infrastructure.

                • Installations and Office IT Management:

                  • Set up and manage IT systems during office expansions or relocations, ensuring all equipment is properly installed and operational.


                    • Collaborate with internal teams to address any IT-related needs for office setups, including cabling, hardware placement, and network configurations.

                    • Security and Data Protection:

                      • Ensure that appropriate security measures, including firewalls and antivirus protections, are in place across all systems.


                        • Regularly update security protocols to protect Washmen’s data and maintain compliance with best practices.

                        • Vendor Management:

                          • Manage relationships with external vendors for IT hardware, software, and services.


                            • Coordinate with third-party providers for hardware repairs and service agreements.

                            • Documentation and Reporting:

                              • Maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, network configurations, and equipment inventories.


                                • Provide regular reports to management on the status of IT infrastructure, incidents, and performance metrics.

                                • User Training and Support:

                                  • Provide basic IT training and support to staff, helping them to make the best use of company technology and systems.

                                  • Proactive Problem-Solving:

                                    • Identify potential IT risks or inefficiencies and proactively suggest improvements or preventative measures.
