IT Field Engineer required. Our client are dynamic and diverse expanding support team, based in Lancing.
Joining the Field Technician Team, the IT Field Technician will provide crucial onsite technical support and consultancy to clients. This role involves managing a portfolio of approximately 15 clients, with the expectation of visiting up to 3 clients daily to offer both proactive and reactive support. The technician will serve as the primary liaison, fostering robust relationships . Additionally, there will be periodic assignments at the office to support the remote technical team.

• Travelling to customer’s sites and providing support / installation services
• Update and manage customers documentation
• Evaluate and prioritize tasks
• Supporting and installing desktops & laptops (Windows 8-10pro)
• Configurations and Networking
• Undertake day to day operations ensuring that all incidents, requests, and site maintenance work are effectively supported.

Position Requirements - IT Field Engineer
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2016 to 365, particularly Outlook.
· Experience with Server 2016/19/22 administration, including Active Directory and Group Policy.
· Skills in network troubleshooting, including hardware, topology, and TCP/IP.
· Familiarity with client/server applications, desktop OS installations, and configuration.
· Competence in hardware troubleshooting and a thorough understanding of desktop environments (Windows, MacOS, Google Chrome OS).
· Knowledge of Bromcom and Arbor is advantageous.

Position Remuneration - IT Field Engineer

• Monday to Friday 8:00am - 17:00pm
• Salary £30,000 - £31,000
