ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Strong IT background required including; Supporting Microsoft environment workstations, device networking and database troubleshooting, Supporting external and internal customers in the Field Service Engineers territory, PC hardware skills including replacing PC components and diagnostics.
  • Highly motivated customer focused engineer with excellent customer facing and technical problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable interfacing with clients and other stakeholders at all levels of their organization
  • Results orientated with a “Can Do” attitude and clear enthusiasm for excelling in customer satisfaction
  • Excellent fault-finding skills; Trouble shooting utilizing Event Viewer; Error Logs; Debug
  • Experienced field engineer with electromechanical and IT skills, ideally from medical or IT industry
  • Ability to drill and mount, mechanical bracketry in raised ceilings
  • Ability to read and work with technical drawings and architects’ drawings

DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • A+ and Microsoft certifications a plus
  • SQL knowledge is preferred
  • Medical Devices, ideally Medical Imaging or Radiotherapy
Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive, customer-focused Field Service Engineer to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service and support to our customers across the West Coast region. You will also be expected to travel periodically to other states to provide coverage during PTO and other business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Install, support, and maintain Vision RT product range
  • Perform site surveys ensuring all aspects of installation requirements are met in line with Vision RT processes and procedures
  • Provide reactive breakdown support (remote and on site)
  • Provide planned maintenance/ upgrade support (remote and on site)
  • Plan and perform installations in line with Vision RT installation processes & procedures
  • Liaise with customers and our installers
  • Travelling to different hospitals throughout in the Carolina Coastal region, with occasional responsibilities in other parts of the state on an ad hoc basis, and periodic travel to other states to provide coverage during PTO and similar needs.”
