This tech will oversee the complete hardware lifecycle from receiving large-scale imaging to deployment, transfer, and disposal while aiming to minimize asset waste. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for: Receive, image, and configuration of all new hardware Utilize image lab, capable of imaging up to 50 machines at once Manage hardware transfers and disposals Improve hardware delivery times and increase onboarding experience Reduce/remove waste of underutilized and depreciated Manage fixed asset transfers and disposals Make recommendations on areas for improvement Assists with internal resources to provide great administrative support Contribute to team efforts in a corporative and supportive manner Qualifications: Requires High School diploma or equivalent and 1+ year experience with computers, networks, computer software and hardware or other directly related experience in a corporate setting. Proficient knowledge of application software, networks, PCs LANs, and terminals. A+ is preferred. Ability to troubleshoot and make appropriate corrections and/or recommendations through excellent interpersonal communication skills (oral and written). Must be able to meet deadlines and work with customers on a daily basis. Broad application of principles, theories, and concepts in applicable discipline. Some overtime may be necessary on an “as needed” basis. Requires a valid drivers license and good driving record. This position may require travel throughout Utah. Candidates must show proof of a valid and acceptable driving record. Travel will be necessary to service our remote branches in and outside of Salt Lake City (company vehicle provided). This position requires heavy lifting up to 100 pounds. A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements. Location: This position is fully in office (5 days a week) at the Zions Technology Center – 7860 South Bingham Junction Blvd, Midvale, UT 84047. The Zions Technology Center is a 400,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah.
