Orada Technology Solutions is an IT Consulting Company, who is looking for motivated and professional technicians that are willing to work in order to provide level 2 techs for break/fix tasks. Our end users will submit their technical issues through our ticketing system by which technicians will pick and choose which devices, repair type, and time frame.
Job Title: Field Service IT Technician
Location: Pennsylvania
Pay Rate: $32.00- $50.00 per completed ticket
Job Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
Work Location: In person
Schedule: Flexible; technicians can choose assignments based on their availability

Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site hardware repairs and maintenance for clients across Accepting field service applicants across Erie County and Northwestern Pennsylvania
  • Ensure proper installation of replacement parts for hardware issues; address software-related concerns as needed
  • Maintain accurate service records and part usage by properly updating the ticketing system
  • Log into the company’s ticketing system to track, update, and close service tickets, ensuring accurate job documentation and invoicing
  • Coordinate with internal support team for guidance and issue resolution rather than directly communicating with end users
  • Manage travel to service locations independently, ensuring timely arrival and adherence to scheduled appointments

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree in Computer Science or 2 years of hands-on experience in computer hardware repair
  • Must carry yourself professionally at all times
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing computer hardware components
  • Basic understanding of software troubleshooting
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Must own and maintain personal tools necessary for computer repair tasks
  • Must be comfortable with a background check
  • Reliable transportation is required to travel to client sites within the designated regions
