Description

As a Field Services Engineer, you’ll be responsible for dealing with technical issues escalated by multiple customers. You’ll have the opportunity to work in different environments, with broad exposure to technologies, including networking, cloud systems, hardware troubleshooting, and real-time data systems, expanding your versatility.

Responsibilities
  • Respond and troubleshoot issues on assigned tickets within agreed SLAs.
  • Fully committed to maintaining and increasing customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with customers, colleagues and senior staff at all times.
  • Respond to incoming calls per defined processes.
  • Provide support at the front desk as required or requested by your line manager within your area of responsibility.
  • Follow up on helpdesk calls as quickly as possible and within the terms of the customer contract.
  • Report and escalate all issues identified to the appropriate operational escalation points.
  • Carry out repairs and return faulty customer equipment in accordance with the customer maintenance contract.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance where required.
  • Ensure the shortest possible repair cycle by carrying out local repairs of faulty parts and monitoring the replacement of faulty parts.
  • Working on-site from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
