WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Nottingham College is committed to enhancing its use of technology and improving the delivery of IT Services across all its campuses. With IT Services playing a central role in supporting over 25,000 students and 1,600 staff, we are dedicated to providing responsive, high-quality technical support.
We are currently seeking two Temporary IT Field Support Engineers to join our team on a three-month fixed-term basis. In this role, you will work closely with IT Business Partners to provide effective on-site support for both strategic projects and day-to-day operational needs. You will play a key role in ensuring that all support activities are delivered in line with established process frameworks and service standards.
Key responsibilities include supporting strategic IT summer projects, providing hands-on support for office moves and assisting with local campus operations. You will also deliver technical assistance across desktop environments, including Microsoft Windows 11, Windows 10, and Microsoft O365. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be interacting with users and colleagues to ensure services are delivered effectively and in line with agreed service level agreements.
