We are looking for an IT Field Support Officer – Americas who will play a crucial role in providing advice and operational support to solutions provided by group IT within Rio Tinto. This role contributes to the management and alignment of customer expectations against IS&T priorities to ensure seamless operational performance

This role will provide day-to-day management and support of IS&T for RTX Technical Applications and infrastructure to RTX employees in both office and remote location. Reporting to the Superintendent – Operational Support, you will be

  • Overseeing End-to-End Technical Support: Delivering responsive, hands-on support for RTX systems, applications, and infrastructure, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations across diverse environments.
  • Ensuring all on-premises IT equipment—whether in office hubs or remote field locations—is configured, maintained, and optimised for performance, security, and compliance.
  • Acting as the primary liaison with external service providers and internal stakeholders to scope, implement, and support new or modified
