SUMMARY

We are seeking a Field Support Specialist to join our dynamic team at Kingsdown and work as part of the BedMatch team. BedMatch is a unique, patented process that matches retail customers to their ideal mattress using medical grade equipment and cutting edge technology. This role is essential in providing technical support and solutions to our field operations, ensuring that our systems run smoothly and efficiently. The Field Support Specialist will play a key role in enhancing our operational capabilities and contributing to our mission of delivering the smartest mattresses in the world.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in desktop support or a related IT field. (2-5 years)
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS) and computer hardware. Experience with PC imaging, SQL databases, CosmoDB, web servers, C++,VB, Azure Infrastructure, and Team Viewer is a plus.
  • Familiarity with computer networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective collaboration.
  • A valid drivers license
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time to global sites for project support, field support issues and technical training.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To develop and maintain proficiency in Kingsdown hardware/software solutions
  • Provide solutions or action plans to Kingsdown field personnel or directly to end-users by phone, chat, email, and video conferencing
  • Assemble and install IT equipment for Kingsdown employees and end-user such as laptop, thin-clients etc.,
  • Assist customers and staff with hardware and software challenges
  • Configure, Setup and support IT equipment such as switches, patch panels, server infrastructure, Office 365 suite (Office suite, Outlook, Azure and Entra etc., ) configuration
  • Maintain working IT components through order, repair or replacement
  • Assemble, install, troubleshoot and support IT retail equipment (bedMATCH) and diagnostic software locally and at customer retail sites
  • Assemble, install, troubleshoot and support mattress testing equipment (ICSA) and diagnostic software at factory and customer retail sites
  • Monitor team inbox and emails to support IT/helpdesk related issues
  • Maintain documentation of technical processes and procedures for future reference.
  • Conduct data backups ,data restores, disaster recovery and storage management.
  • Collaborate with teammates on new product development and testing
