Description New England’s leading carwash company is looking for an IT Field Technician join our growing team. The primary purpose of this position is to work with the Director of IT to provide onsite IT support services for all ScrubaDub car wash locations. This includes the installation, maintenance and support of all the IT infrastructures and systems, including but not limited to Servers, Workstations, Ethernet cabling, Switches and Routers (SonicWall and others), Wireless access points, Video surveillance systems, IP Phones and general user troubleshooting. Position Responsibilities: · Perform onsite deployment of new PCs, laptops, MACs, printers, and other new hardware. · Perform onsite support of PCs, laptops, MACs, printers, end-user applications, other software, VPNs, Internet connectivity, mobile devices, new-user setups, email, etc. · Support end-user operating systems including Windows, Android, & MAC/iOS devices. · Support business applications. · Provide LAN/WAN support and understanding on Wireless connectivity and configuration of it · Assist and support IT director on projects and deployments. · Manage time & service tickets (documentation). · Perform onsite installation Security systems and troubleshoot. · Installation, Configuration, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting of operational hardware, software, and peripheral devices at locations · Installation of network appliances based on corporate standards · routers, switches, UPS units · Second IT contact for the sites in their region regarding projects, IT related projections · Brokers other IT services such as Network or Server assistance as required · Maintain Documentation IT systems and infrastructure · Monitor network connectivity of servers, workstations, and other network appliances · Guidance to end users to identify and resolve systems issues · Kiosks (including replacement of internal components) · Assist with the analysis of system utilization projects · Performs regular preventative maintenance on all IT equipment at locations · Provides onsite IT presence before, during, and after new deployment of new equipment for new sites · Responsible for the condition and quality of the location’s server room · Maintenance and Testing of networking and in-building WIFI services Benefits: · Competitive Wages: Starting at $60,000 and up, based on experience · Paid Vacation: Two weeks paid vacation, accrued · Medical: Employer subsidized medical, dental, and vision · Personal Car Care: Free car washes and employee discounts on car detailing services for your personal vehicles. · Retirement: 401K plan with 3% employer match · Education: Opportunity for professional development training, access to educational scholarships, and tuition reimbursement Requirements · Must be available to work on a flexible schedule, which may include emergency situations. · Have at least two years of experience as an IT Field Technician or equivalent. · Must possess outstanding customer service skills and be willing to work in a team environment. · Possess initiative and motivation with a “get the job done” attitude. · Basic phone and interpersonal networking skills required. · Ability to utilize knowledge and experience from previous technical issues and apply it to current and future technical problems. · Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and general Microsoft troubleshooting. Basic network troubleshooting required. · Must be able to sort through complex issues and conduct comparative analysis of multiple solutions. · High school diploma or equivalent is required. A+ or Network + Certification along with an Associate’s Degree in Information Technology highly preferred. · Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. · Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with customers, employees, and the general public. · Focused on quality while maintaining a sense of urgency.
