Responsibilities

YOUR NEXT ROLE

We are looking for a practical, people-focused IT Field Technician to join our team. Reporting to the IT Manager, you will support office and manufacturing teams across Australia and New Zealand, helping keep our technology running smoothly.

You will provide hands-on and remote IT support, set up and maintain devices, and help troubleshoot issues. This role offers variety, autonomy, and connection—whether on-site or assisting users remotely.

  • All our people go home in the same condition they came to work, safety before production.
  • Responding to IT support requests and incidents promptly, with clear communication and accurate documentation in our service desk system
  • Setting up and maintaining hardware, software, and devices—including laptops, printers, routers, and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to minimise disruption across office and site teams
  • Performing routine maintenance, updates, and system checks to keep systems running smoothly
  • Supporting users with practical, easy-to-follow guidance and training
  • Working closely with the broader IT team to escalate and resolve complex issues
  • Assisting in identifying and addressing risks or recurring issues

This role will suit someone who enjoys helping people and solving problems and who thrives in both office and manufacturing environments. Adaptability, clear communication, and a calm, practical approach are key. As a physically present, office-based position, it also offers the opportunity to work from other sites across our business—including Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and Perth. Travel is required approximately once per month for short visits, working closely with a supportive IT team.

  • Experience working with IT systems like Windows, Office 365, and Active Directory
  • Confidence supporting hardware and common software issues
  • Familiarity with tools like Intune or similar device management systems
  • A calm, practical approach to problem-solving
  • Strong communication skills and a team mindset
  • A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel monthly
  • A willingness to travel to other sites approximately once a month is required. The ability to take part in the rotating on-call roster every four week
