Job Title: Field Technician
Type: 3-month contract (possibility of extension)
Location: Sherbrooke, QC
Starts: ASAP
Ends: 3 months after the start date

Of Resources: 1

Pay Rate: $21/hr + $0.44/km
Shift Schedule: Rotating shift schedule, Monday to Sunday, anywhere between 7 AM and midnight.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have a technical diploma
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of electromechanical experience
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
  • Must be flexible to work rotating shifts which can include nights, weekends, overtime, and flex shifts, as well as being on call to keep customers happy
  • Team Player
  • Must be able to carry and lift tools and parts weighing up to 50 lbs

QUALIFICATIONS :

Responsibilities
  • Basic installation, maintenance, and repairs on equipment within an assigned territory—all while keeping customers completely assured and satisfied. (And in compliance with agreed upon Service Level Agreements, of course.)
  • Perform work on products like ATMs, POS systems, kiosks and workstations.
  • Assist in site preparation, including installation of cable, staging of equipment, and minor testing of equipment.
  • Guard all assets used in the delivery of customer services (that is tools, software, vehicles, documentation, and intellectual property).
  • Maintain stellar records and an appropriate parts inventory.
  • Capture customer information for invoicing and stay in contact to ensure the best possible service.
  • Resolve problems before they start by performing periodic preventative maintenance.
  • Pull in the proper associate, team member, or territory manager who can help.
  • Record-keeping log of all customer calls and activity, plus track all expenses incurred in the delivery of services (like phone calls or driving).
