POSITION SPECIFIC DESCRIPTION

The IT Financial Leader plays a crucial role in leading financial aspects NEER IT. This position involves working closely with NEER IT project teams, financial teams, and other stakeholders to provide financial roll ups, forecasting and mentorship related to technology initiatives. The IT Financial lead ensures that IT expenditures align with organizational goals, financial guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 6+ years

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define financial roadmap for NEER IT organization.
  • Develop metrics and reporting for financial awareness.
  • Develops financial processes and trains financial analysts on key processes.
  • Ensures processes fall within overall corporate guidelines.
  • Responsible for overall relationship with IT and BU finance teams.
  • Reports status of financial portfolio and provides insights to NEER IT leadership.
  • Overall responsible for annual budget development and performance.
  • Implements and maintains financial controls to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with all teams (IT Finance, BU Finance, NEER IT Finance, Application teams, Cloud, etc.) to ensure all feedback is incorporated into plan.
  • Develops initial reports and/or templates required to perform processes.
  • Defines training plans.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Trains and coaches leaders, teams, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindset
  • Contributes in Communities of Practice (CoP), within the agile network
  • Promotes and encourages collaboration and transparency and builds trusting relationships between business, delivery, and other entities within the organization
  • Facilitates periodic synchronization meetings across several different onsite and distributed delivery teams
  • Prepares program and release backlogs, as well as team and program objectives
  • Tracks, promotes, and publishes completed program features and program and team objectives
  • Manages risk and dependencies, communicates and escalates impediments to facilitate transparency, and reduces bottlenecks
  • Embraces a continuous improvement mindset, and drives the use of agile engineering best practices and innovation
  • Reports on standardized program-level metrics, and understands, tracks, and operates within the program budget
  • Plays an instrumental role in the organization’s Agile transformation, acts as a change agent, and shows strong leadership skills with a positive and collaborative attitude
