BBVA CIB is seeking to hire a Programme Manager to join its Global Software Delivery team. This role will lead the development of innovative technology solutions within financial markets, with a particular focus on the Fixed Income IT domain.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in project management for capital markets technology, with focus on fixed income products.
  • Fluent English (C1 level) required.
  • Strong knowledge of ION Group solutions (both D2D and D2C) and other e-trading market solutions (e.g., Valantic, Genesis, Beacon, Numerix, FINIQ,…).
  • Recommended knowledge of booking, risk management and back office solutions (e.g., Murex, Calypso,…)
  • Proven experience engaging directly with trading and sales desks in Fixed Income Rates.
  • Solid track record in managing project budgets exceeding €20MM .

Responsibilities
  • Define and drive the IT transformation plan for the strategic Fixed Income Rates e-trading Platform within BBVA CIB.
  • Lead and manage a portfolio of strategic IT projects, particularly focused on developing e-trading platforms and solutions for Fixed Income Rates products.
  • Collaborate closely with the S ponsor and Product Owner to support the execution of the business strategic plans.
  • Lead the design of end-to-end technology plans , from Front Office to Back Office.
  • Ensure on-time, in-scope delivery of project plans, maintaining alignment with all stakeholders across different geographies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts involving both internal and external teams , ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology architecture.
  • Play a key role in team development and in disseminating knowledge across the Fixed Income e-Trading ecosystem.
  • Apply Agile methodologies and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
