Job Description

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant work experience in IT consulting within a large enterprise.
• Demonstrated experience advising business stakeholders on technology solutions.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a matrix organization.
• Practical experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, particularly SAP, is highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of data modeling, data integration, and data governance is desirable.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Experienced in agile working methods and agile mindset.
• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and commitment to continuous professional development.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a closely related technical field is highly preferred.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly motivated and solution-oriented IT Functional Consultant to join our interdisciplinary team focused on sustainable product lifecycle management within SAP PLM and MDG-M (Master Data Governance for Materials). You will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing IT product for the “Product Lifecycle Management Excellence (PLMX)” project, collaborating closely with IT, specialist departments, and business stakeholders within Mobility Aftermarket and Bosch Digital Product areas. This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication and coordination skills, capable of translating business needs into tangible technical solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Solution-Oriented Consulting: Provide functional IT consulting as part of a cross-functional team, focusing on SAP PLM and SAP MDG-M within the context of sustainable product lifecycle management.
• Project Participation: Contribute to IT product development and sub-projects related to PLMX, coordinating with various business teams.
• Requirements Analysis: Lead discussions with user departments to elicit requirements and translate them into technical IT concepts.
• Product Design: Collaborate with the development team to shape high-level solutions that effectively address user department needs.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and development teams, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
• End-to-End Ownership: Take responsibility for specific topics, driving them from concept to implementation and ensuring tangible results.
• Strategic Partnership: Act as a sparring partner for the Project Manager, Development Manager, and Product & Service Manager (PSM), providing valuable insights and guidance.
