POSITION SUMMARY:

An IT Generalist provides comprehensive support for an organization’s information technology needs, encompassing various areas like network, applications, server administration, user support, and system maintenance. They are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of IT Infrastructure, applications, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to meet business requirements.

• Technical Proficiency: A broad understanding of various IT technologies, including hardware, software, networks, servers, and operating systems.
• Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: The ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 4-6 years of demonstrable experience as an IT generalist or in technical support, system analysis, network administration, or a related role.

• Manage and maintain servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure components. This includes tasks like server setup, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of system reports, analytics and dashboards as Power BI & Tableau. Knowledge of SQL & Oracle Databases. Basic knowledge of CoPilot.
• Provide technical assistance to users for hardware, software, and network-related issues. This often involves troubleshooting, diagnosing problems, and implementing solutions. Knowledge in Office 365 and Admin Portal.
• Ensure the security of systems and data, implementing security measures, and managing backups and recovery plans.
• Participate in or lead IT projects, such as system upgrades, software implementations, or network expansions.
• Create and maintain documentation for IT systems, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Provide training to users on new technologies or procedures.
• Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory requirements and IT policies.
• Work with other IT team members, vendors, and business stakeholders to address IT needs and implement solutions.
