The IT Governance Support Specialist plays a key role in assisting the IT Governance department and its leadership in ensuring effective oversight and coordination across central and decentralized IT functions. This role supports audit readiness, reporting, and data management to enable informed decision-making and compliance with governance standards. YOUR CHALLENGE Support the Head of IT Governance in day-to-day coordination and strategic initiatives Support the maintenance and regular review of IT governance policies, procedures and standards Assist in overseeing central and decentralized IT departments to ensure alignment with governance frameworks Coordinate internal and external IT audits, including scheduling, documentation, and follow-up actions Support IT functions in timely and complete audit responses and remediation tracking Gather, analyse, and prepare data for IT Governance reporting and dashboards Contribute to the preparation of governance & risk reports and presentations for IT Management and other stakeholders Maintain documentation and records related to governance processes, audits, and compliance Collaborate with various IT and business units to ensure consistent application of governance policies and procedures YOUR PROFILE Strong, written and verbal communication skills to liaise with IT stakeholders and internal and external auditors Understanding of IT governance frameworks (e.g. COBIT) Very good understanding of governance and risk management lifecycle practices and processes Familiarity with audit processes and compliance requirements Ability to gather, analyse and interpret data for reporting purposes Experience with dashboard and management reporting tools General understanding of IT operations and systems to contextualize Proactive in identifying gaps or risks in risk and governance processes Very good German and English language skills (written and verbal) Very high level on self-motivation to drive initiatives and initiate changes Higher Education (University, University or equivalent) We are looking forward to receiving your full job application through our online application tool.
