Description Paid internship HOURS: Eight hour shift M-F within 6:00 am to 11:00 pm MST operating hours. 8a-5p JOB PURPOSE: The Information Technology (IT) Help Desk Intern provides hands on support for Edupoint’s technology equipment and office workspaces. This role is responsible to assist the IT team with computer deployments, workstation setup, equipment inventory, hardware maintenance, and basic troubleshooting in accordance with its needs and priorities. JOB SUMMARY: The IT Help Desk Intern is responsible for preparing and deploying computer equipment, assembling workstations, maintaining inventory records, supporting office technology, and assisting staff with basic hardware and software issues. This position works closely with senior IT staff who hold the responsibility for managing servers, networks, or production systems. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, telephone, copier and other office equipment as necessary. Hearing must be in the normal range for telephone and video conferencing contacts. Visual acuity necessary to work extended hours on computer screens. Ability to work in an environment with moderate noise and which can be fast paced and project intensive. Travel in the performance of duties may be required.
