We are seeking an IT Intern to support the Help Desk team in our corporate office in Sioux Falls, SD. In this role you will gain hands-on IT experience in a supportive team environment. You will assist our IT team in providing technical support and troubleshooting to users who encounter problems with their hardware, software, or network devices. You must be able to report to our corporate office in Sioux Falls, SD. Why TAK? The Role Assist the help desk team in responding to employee requests for basic IT support via phone, email, or ticketing system Help troubleshoot common computer, printer, and software issues Support users by providing simple instructions on how to use company systems and software Learn to escalate more complex problems to experienced technicians Help with setup, installation, or updates of computers and software under supervision Assist in keeping IT equipment and inventory organized and documented Learn and follow IT policies, security practices, and procedures Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and small projects as assigned Other duties as assigned Requirements Interest in IT, computer systems, or a related field (enrollment in a degree program is a plus) Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and basic computer applications like Microsoft Office Willingness to learn troubleshooting techniques and ask questions Good communication skills and a helpful, customer-focused attitude Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions Dependable and eager to grow in a team environment Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a driver’s license is required if the role involves driving Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen) The compensation and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
