OVERVIEW

We are in search of an IT Helpdesk technician who will work to maintain a highly operational and seamless IT infrastructure for our employees

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent working knowledge of Windows 10/11
  • Office 365 management of users/accounts
  • A+ and/or Network+ experience is preferred
  • Must be highly focused on customer service and able to interact with employees in a respectful and helpful manner
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced and often demanding environment
  • This position requires driving between the various campus locations

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Must be able to communicate effectively in English and have excellent written and verbal skills.
Physical Demands of Position: While performing the duties of this job, must be able to sit or stand for periods up to 7 hours at a time, working in the heat, cold and in small spaces. Must be able to climb ladders and crawl in small spaces such as under or behind desks, closets or attic spaces. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted. LifeWorks Wellness Center is located in 8 separate buildings, 5 of these buildings have a 2nd floor which is accessible only by stairs. Must be able to perform the functions of this position in all offices and locations of LifeWorks Wellness Center.

Responsibilities
  • Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, preventative maintenance and installation of computers, printers, servers, wired and wireless infrastructure, media players, point-of-sale and other equipment at Lifeworks office locations
  • Install, terminate and troubleshoot Cat 5/6 cabling
  • Follow company policy to confirm, accept and close IT tickets
  • Interface at an intermediate level with employees to effectively troubleshoot problems
  • Assist with network configuration, software integration and hardware installation
  • Coordinate with the IT Administrator and set up routine inspections and maintenance on the network as a whole.
