Aufsite is looking for a motivated and energetic team member to support onsite IT Helpdesk Support for our client’s located in the Fort Wayne, ID area. This is a full-time role (40 hours per week). Below are some of the responsibilities for the candidate.

PRIOR EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in end user support and desktop builds
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills
  • Network/Firewall/WiFi troubleshooting
  • Active Directory Administration
  • Microsoft Office 365 Administration
  • Backup/restore
  • Image management
  • 2 years of basic server maintenance
  • AWS Cloud (nice to have)
  • ConnectWise RMM experience (nice to have)
  • SentinelOne EDR experience (nice to have)

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Analytical, problem solving and technical skill
  • Skillful with Microsoft operating systems
  • Skilled in diagnosing and resolving software and hardware problems
  • Proficient in IT Helpdesk Software, such as Connectwise PSA
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability and desire to learn new skills and technology as required

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
  • Willing to work outside of standard business hours and weekends (when required)
  • Ability to provide 24/7 system and user support for on-call rotation
  • Ability to commute to client site when necessary

Responsibilities
  • Perform laptop builds for new hires as well as replacements for existing employees
  • Training end-users on hardware functionality and software programs
  • Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Provides support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Troubleshoot and solve PC issues remotely
  • Management of all systems usernames and passwords, MS Exchange and 365 (setup and troubleshooting)
  • Provide off hours support during scheduled on-call rotation
  • Assist with resolving helpdesk tickets in our Connectwise PSA ticketing system
  • Improve the way endpoints are managed and maintained as new technologies emerge
  • Assist in managing and maintaining the server infrastructure (applying patches / updates, resolving hardware issues, etc.)
  • Assist the Director, Infrastructure and Operations in the creation and ongoing maintenance of Desktop Policies and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Documents, tracks, and monitors ongoing issues to ensure a timely resolution
  • Sets up and configure new hire systems: Laptop/Desktop, VPN, mobile phone
  • Assists in maintaining an up-to-date list of employees hardware assets
  • Assists in the creation of technical and working instruction documentation as needed
  • Creates user accounts and maintains Active Directory
  • Verify employee’s equipment is current and secure utilizing existing system monitoring tools: Connectwise, SentinelOne, Office 365, etc
