Frostburg State University seeks applications for a full-time, exempt, contractual IT Help Desk Specialist. Salary Range is $54,000 - $56,000. Partial University System of Maryland benefits package included.
Responsibilities: This position is responsible for providing support to all Faculty, Staff, and students for a broad spectrum of technologies. This includes receiving, creating, and monitoring service requests coming into the Help Desk. This position will also back up other Technology Services staff.
Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. One to three years of IT support and troubleshooting experience with various devices, software applications and operating systems.
Preferred Qualifications: Strong customer service, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills related to the IT field. Ability to communicate effectively, correctly, and clearly, Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work on a ladder.
