Description

ESP Associates, Inc. is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician in our Fort Mill, SC office. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level, service-oriented professional who is eager to learn and grow their career as part of a dynamic, collaborative IT team! Responsibilities: * Providing technical assistance and support to end users by responding to help desk tickets, running diagnostic programs, isolating problems and implementing solutions * Helping configure, build, and deploy machines for new employees * Providing support to remote ESP offices Required Qualifications: * Customer service attitude * Good verbal and written communication skills * Experience with laptops, workstations, cell phones, printing systems, and hardware trouble shooting * Working knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 10, Microsoft Office, and Office 365 * Ability to work well in a highly collaborative, team setting * Ability to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities while supporting/communicating with IT teammates * Candidate must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy Preferred: * Experience with LAN/WAN support * Knowledge of VPN access and large-scale plotting systems * Experience with Microsoft Server 2016 and 2019 support * Experience with Hyper-V software and/or VM software * Associates Degree and/or 2+ years of experience in computer systems or corporate IT support Physical Requirements: * Capable of walking various terrains, including inclines and declines. * Must be capable of carrying up to but not limited to 50lbs of equipment and or supplies throughout various locations. * Bending, Knelling, Twisting and Repetitive Lifting of 20lbs are required Corporate Information: ESP is a multi-discipline engineering design and consulting firm providing our clients with civil engineering, surveying, planning/landscape architecture, geosciences, environmental, subsurface utility engineering, and construction engineering inspection.
