JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Temporary IT Helpdesk Technician to provide day-to-day IT support while our core team focuses on a NetSuite ERP implementation. In this role, you will be responsible for new hire setups, responding to support requests, and managing assets using NinjaRMM and Snipe-IT. This is a 3–4 month assignment with the possibility of extension.
Experience in oil & gas or industrial IT environments is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who can adapt to new tools and processes and work independently with minimal supervision.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1–2 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role
  • Proficiency with Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and basic networking
  • Experience using NinjaRMM and/or similar remote management tools
  • Familiarity with Snipe-IT or other asset tracking systems
  • Prior experience supporting oil & gas, field service, or industrial operations
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, self-sufficient work ethic
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and tools quickly

Responsibilities
  • Serve as first-line support for hardware, software, network, and printer issues
  • Set up and configure laptops, monitors, docks, and peripherals for new hires
  • Manage user accounts in Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
  • Apply remote policies and configurations via NinjaRMM
  • Maintain hardware asset records using Snipe-IT
  • Assist with MFA setup, password resets, VPN access, and security updates
  • Respond to helpdesk tickets and escalate complex issues when needed
  • Follow documented IT processes and update documentation when gaps are identified
  • Quickly learn internal systems and adapt to new technologies or workflows
