JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated and resourceful IT professional to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is excited by the challenge of shaping and scaling IT operations from the ground up. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in both day-to-day IT support and long-term infrastructure development.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Information Technology or related fields like Computer Science.
  • 4+ years of previous experience in related role.
  • Valid and verifiable certifications such as (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, CompTIA Security A+, etc).
  • This is an onsite position - must be in the local area.
Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and deploy IT infrastructure from the ground up, including systems, networks, and hardware to support a rapidly scaling workforce.
  • Manage and deploy IT hardware in a complex and expanding Google Workspace environment.
  • Handle full-cycle user onboarding, including configuration of Google Workspace, Office 365, VOIP devices, and distribution of IT peripherals.
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to users both in-person and remotely, ensuring efficient resolution of IT issues.
  • Collaborate with third-party service providers for hardware servicing and technical support beyond internal capacity.
  • Implement and maintain core IT systems including network switches, firewalls, and web-filtering appliances; assist in procurement and architecture planning.
  • Set up, monitor, and manage virtual servers, optimizing usage of system resources.
  • Enforce IT security best practices across the organization; configure and monitor access controls and conduct regular user security awareness training.
  • Develop and manage backup systems using contemporary tools and strategies to ensure data resilience and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Ensure all IT practices are aligned with company quality, environmental, and business continuity standards.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvement by researching, recommending, and piloting innovative IT solutions.
