OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Helpdesk Engineer to join our growing IT support team. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical support to end users and clients, ensuring IT issues are resolved quickly and effectively. This role requires a strong background in Microsoft cloud technologies, advanced troubleshooting skills, and the ability to travel to client sites when required. A full UK driving licence and access to a car is preferred.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Strong knowledge of Office 365 / Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
  • Experience with Autopilot, Intune, and modern device management.
  • Good understanding of SharePoint administration.
  • Proficiency in Windows troubleshooting (desktop and server).
  • Strong networking knowledge (DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, managed switches).
  • Familiarity with cloud services (cloud servers, hosted email, backups).
  • Hands-on experience with RMM, SOC, EDR, MDR solutions.
  • Knowledge of Cyber Essentials best practices.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • UK driving licence and car preferred (travel to client sites required).

  • Provide first and second-line technical support for hardware, software, and cloud services.
  • Deploy, configure, and support Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environments.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Intune and Autopilot deployments.
  • Support and administer SharePoint Online and other collaboration tools.
  • Deliver advanced troubleshooting for Windows operating systems and related applications.
  • Configure and support networking technologies including VPNs, firewalls, and managed switches.
  • Assist with security compliance and implementation of Cyber Essentials technologies.
  • Work with RMM, SOC, EDR, and MDR platforms to monitor and secure client environments.
  • Provide support for cloud services including hosted servers, email, and backups.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation and user guides.
  • Travel to client sites as required to provide hands-on support and project delivery
