Description ZT Automotive Luxury is seeking a customer-focused and technically skilled IT Helpdesk Technician to support our dealership operations in Charlotte, NC. This role serves as the first point of contact for end users experiencing hardware, software, network, and systems-related issues. The technician will provide hands-on and remote technical support to dealership employees, ensuring minimal downtime and a high level of customer service. The ideal candidate combines strong troubleshooting abilities with excellent communication skills and understands the importance of technology in supporting dealership sales, service, parts, and administrative operations. Requirements Technical Support Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones, and other IT equipment. Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets in a timely and professional manner. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, and application issues. Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and business applications. Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint. Set up and deploy computers, peripherals, and user accounts for new hires. Assist with user onboarding and offboarding activities, including account provisioning and access management. Support dealership-specific software systems and business applications. Infrastructure & Systems Support Monitor and maintain local network devices, wireless connectivity, and printers. Assist with inventory management of IT hardware and software assets. Perform routine system updates, patches, and preventative maintenance. Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff or vendors as appropriate. Assist with technology projects, system upgrades, and equipment rollouts. Customer Service & Documentation Provide exceptional customer service to dealership employees and managers. Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles. Educate end users on technology best practices, cybersecurity awareness, and system functionality. Track support requests and maintain accurate records within the ticketing system. Qualifications Required Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience. 2+ years of IT Helpdesk, Desktop Support, or Technical Support experience. Strong knowledge of: Windows 10/11 Microsoft 365 Suite PC hardware and peripherals Network troubleshooting fundamentals (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPN) Experience supporting multiple users in a fast-paced business environment. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional local travel. Preferred Experience supporting automotive dealerships. Familiarity with dealership management systems (CDK). Experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory, and endpoint management tools. Experience with VoIP phone systems and security systems.
