Description

We are currently seeking an IT Helpdesk Support Administrator to join a busy IT team based in Dublin City Centre. This is a permanent, fully onsite position and an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on helpdesk experience who enjoys troubleshooting, supporting end users and developing their technical skills.

  • The RoleProvide 1st and 2nd level technical and systems support to users.
  • Log and manage support tickets and monitor SLAs through the helpdesk management system.
  • Troubleshoot user issues and respond to technical queries.
  • Set up and configure PCs and laptops for new users.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware issues across PCs, laptops and printers.
  • Provide support for business applications, including document management systems, Citrix and email.
  • Provide audio-visual and video conferencing support within meeting rooms.
  • Support users with office/desk moves, training and offsite requirements.
  • Monitor the IT environment using real-time reporting and dashboard tools.
  • Assist with information security queries.
  • Participate in IT projects alongside the wider IT team.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise and automate IT and business processes.


  • The PersonMinimum of 6 months’ experience in an IT helpdesk/support environment, dealing directly with end-user queries.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage priorities.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • A collaborative approach with a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Flexibility to assist with ad-hoc duties where required.
