THE ROLE

Full Time (Mon to Fri)

We seek an enthusiastic, responsible, well-presented Level 1 Helpdesk Support Technician to join our small, dedicated national team. This role would suit someone who is a team player but can work alone. You are expected to have excellent customer service and communication skills. 

This role will be ideal for someone who is currently in a Level 1 Support role and is looking for a change or to advance their skills via training and on-the-job exposure using the Microsoft 365 admin portal and Endpoint manager. We will also assist you with upgrading your skills in the areas of AI, cybersecurity and networking. This is suited to someone who has finished an IT-related degree, Diploma or certificate at TAFE or University.

Holding a current Microsoft Fundamentals or Associate Certification is advantageous.

You will be based in Brisbane CBD. A car is essential for this role.

In this role you will also: 

  • Provide Remote, Phone and Onsite IT Support
  • Install laptops, desktops and mobile devices
  • Install printers, servers and network devices for clients
  • Troubleshoot Hardware and Software related issues
  • Troubleshoot Network and Cloud related issues
  • Provide Support for Microsoft Technologies, including Microsoft 365
  • Assist with Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Maintenance tasks
  • Assist with maintaining WordPress Websites
  • Resolve Service Requests & Helpdesk Tickets in a timely manner
  • Assist with IT audits
  • Communicate with clients and provide exceptional customer service
  • Operate under ISO 27001 and 9001 standards for information security and quality
  • assurance.
  • Be available from Monday to Friday to cover our different shifts (7am to 3pm, 9am to 5pm and 11am to 7pm)

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • MUST be customer service-focused and have strong communication skills.
  • MUST have finished an IT-related degree, Diploma or certificate at TAFE or University.
  • MUST have a Minimum of 6 months experience in an IT helpdesk role.
  • Experience in retail or customer service is advantageous.
  • Obtained 365 Fundamentals or Associate Certification is advantageous.
  • Troubleshooting laptops and desktop hardware/software.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 admin portal and Windows 11 Products is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills with a positive can do attitude.
  • A genuine passion for Information Technology and excellent communication skills are a must. Experience in a customer service role would be highly regarded.
