ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing tech team based in Padiham. If you’re eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment and work alongside experienced professionals, this could be the perfect role for you.
You’ll play a key role in supporting and maintaining our infrastructure, including Windows and Linux servers, virtual environments, SQL systems, and networking tasks. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in IT and a passion for learning and development.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Supporting and maintaining Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Assisting with the management and deployment of virtualisation technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Proxmox.
• Performing basic SQL database tasks including queries, maintenance, and backups.
• Handling core networking duties – including IP configuration, DNS, DHCP, and firewall support.
• Monitoring and responding to system alerts and incidents.
• Participating in infrastructure improvement projects and system upgrades.
• Keeping documentation up to date and following best practices.
