IT Infrastructure Engineer
Build the Technology That Keeps Our Global Mission Connected
Every mission flight begins long before an aircraft leaves the ground.
Behind every remote airstrip, emergency medical evacuation, and mission team serving in isolated communities is a secure, reliable technology network making it all possible.
At Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF), we're looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to help design, support, and strengthen the technology that keeps our global ministry connected. If you're passionate about networking, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and building resilient systems that make a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.
✈️ Who Are We?
Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) has been bringing help, hope, and healing to isolated communities for more than 80 years. Operating more than 116 aircraft across 30+ countries, we use aviation and technology to overcome barriers that prevent people accessing healthcare, education, disaster relief, and the Gospel.
While our aircraft reach some of the world's most remote places, it's our global technology infrastructure that keeps our people connected, our operations secure, and our mission moving.
Location: Office Based Role - Cairns, Australia.
**NOTE: Applicants must have the current, legal right to work in the Australia. Acceptance of and adherence to MAF’s purpose, vision and values is an essential condition of employment. Criminal History check will also be completed as part of the process**
What You'll Be Doing
As our IT Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be the technical expert behind the systems that keep MAF connected across the globe.
Working alongside our international IT team, you'll design, support, and continually improve the infrastructure that enables our staff, aircraft, and programmes to operate safely and effectively in some of the world's most remote locations.
You'll be involved in:
- Designing, implementing, and supporting MAF's global infrastructure, networking, cloud, and communications environments.

The infrastructure you build becomes the foundation that enables MAF's mission around the world.
