Position Responsibilities

  • Oversee the performance, capacity and reliability of IBM i and Linux systems to support business needs.
  • Lead and develop a team of Systems Engineers, setting clear goals and fostering growth.
  • Drive infrastructure projects and report progress to IT leadership.
  • Define processes to keep systems secure, updated and compliant.
  • Manage vendor partnerships, negotiating contracts and procuring technology.
  • Research and implement emerging technologies that deliver business value.
  • Design and audit backup, high-availability and disaster recovery strategies.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience managing hosting technologies.
  • Strong team and vendor management skills with a focus on business alignment.
