OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a Project Manager who will support our client in the transition of their SAP servers to the SAP Private Cloud. This role will be responsible for the overall project delivery, ensuring that the current ERP and business processes during migration are maintained. The ideal candidate for this role will have proven experience leading complex SAP migrations and cloud transformations, combining tactical project execution with strategic relationship management and performance accountability.
Duties:
- Develop comprehensive migration plans, timelines, risk management strategies, and establish project governance frameworks with clear success criteria and KPIs.
- Manage relationships between business users, IT teams, executives, and external vendors.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with SLAs, tracking performance metrics, response times, and deliverable quality to meet contractual obligations and maintain vendor/client relationships.
- Coordinate the technical assessment, data migration, system integration, and infrastructure transition activities with SAP consultants and cloud service providers.
- Develop user adoption strategies, coordinate training programs for end users and IT staff, and manage organizational change related to cloud operations.
- Plan and execute cutover activities, manage go-live coordination, and ensure post-implementation support, issue resolution, and knowledge transfer.
- Ensure the migration meets regulatory requirements, oversee security assessments, coordinate with cybersecurity teams, and maintain proper documentation and audit trails.
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10+ years’ experience in ERP Project Management to lead successful IT infrastructure migrations.
- 7+ year’s experience working with SAP S/4HANA 1909 or higher
- Strong experience with cloud migration projects with SAP RISE.
- Strong Experience with risk management, issue resolution, and project governance frameworks
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams including technical, business, and vendor resources
- Knowledge of ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
- Preferred certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional), SAP certification preferred (SAP S/4HANA, SAP Project Management, or SAP Cloud Platform)
