• They play a central role in the operation, administration and further development of our global IT infrastructure, thus ensuring smooth and future-proof IT operations.
• In this role, you will be responsible for the support and optimization of MS-Azure and MS-365, as well as the administration of our MS server operating systems and central infrastructure services.
• Furthermore, you will manage and further develop our network environment, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN and MPLS.
• Together with our IT team, you will also be responsible for the administration and optimization of remote desktop services, planning and implementation of cloud computing and hybrid solutions, and will work on international IT projects.
• Last but not least, you will be a sparring partner for our security specialist and work with him on IT security and standardization topics.

Your profile is impressive!

• The basis for this exciting and diverse task is a degree in computer science with a focus on IT infrastructure, training in IT systems engineering or a comparable qualification.
• You have already gained experience in the development and operation of complex IT infrastructures, ideally in the IT landscape of a manufacturing company.
• They also have experience with Microsoft server operating systems, Active Directory, and good knowledge in the areas of networking, MPLS, routing, switching, VPN and firewall.
• Your experience with backup, recovery and disaster recovery concepts, as well as with remote desktop services and virtual desktop infrastructures, and your knowledge in the field of cloud computing and hybrid IT architectures round off your IT profile.
• Due to our international focus, in addition to good German skills, very good English skills, both spoken and written, are absolutely essential.
