SUMMARY

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive On-Site IT Infrastructure Support Engineer to provide technical assistance and support to our employees across multiple sites.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of new systems along with the maintenance and troubleshooting of current systems, to ensure smooth IT operations across the organisation.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Provide on-site technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Machine builds, policy creation and compliance, updates using Intune.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade computer systems and software applications.
  • Monitor IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications, to detect and resolve issues proactively.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems in a timely manner to minimise downtime and disruptions.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Implementation and support of new IT systems across the full IT project lifecycle.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation and guides
  • Document and maintain accurate records of IT assets, configurations, and support activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication to ensure a positive end-user experience.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, WE BELIEVE YOU’LL NEED:

  • Considerable experience in setup, configuration, and maintenance of MS Intune.
  • Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure Support Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and peripherals.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office, Windows, Active Directory, and remote desktop support tools.
  • Excellent understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and LAN/WAN/WIFI technologies (Aruba preferred).
  • Excellent knowledge of Virtualisation technologies including VMWare and Nutanix
  • Can demonstrate a clear understanding of cybersecurity principles and their application
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and mentor junior members of the team.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular business hours and respond to emergencies including participation in an on-call Rota.
