JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to oversee and manage various technology projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and SAFe, as well as experience with enterprise software development and IT infrastructure. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure successful project delivery while adhering to timelines and budget constraints.
REQUIREMENTS
Administration
- Manage and prioritize team calendars, including scheduling meetings, calls, and events with precision and attention to detail.
- Prepare, edit, and proofread documents, presentations, and reports for both internal and external audiences.
- Screen and triage communications to ensure timely responses and optimal time management.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between development teams, C-Level executives, and external stakeholders.
- Build and maintain a safe, supportive, and detail-oriented environment to promote long-term strategic success.
IT Project Management & JIRA Administration
- Oversee JIRA boards for all active projects, ensuring tickets, epics, and sprints are created, assigned, and updated according to established timelines.
- Monitor project progress daily, identifying potential delays and escalating blockers to the project lead as needed.
- Ensure all deliverables remain on schedule and meet established quality standards.
- Provide daily updates to the project lead regarding project status, blockers, and resource requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and version control for audit and reference purposes.
Planning & Design (Wireframes & UI Layouts)
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into intuitive wireframes and UI layouts.
- Create and refine wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize user flows and interface designs.
- Ensure UI/UX designs align with project specifications, accessibility standards, and brand guidelines.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and end-users into design iterations to improve usability and effectiveness.
- Maintain organized design assets and documentation for future development and reference.
Organizational Excellence & Long-Term Support
- Develop and implement systems, workflows, and data-driven tracking tools to enhance operational efficiency.
- Support strategic decision-making through consistent data collection, organization, and reporting.
- Anticipate executive and project needs by proactively managing priorities and aligning tasks with long-term objectives.
- Promote a culture of accuracy, accountability, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
SKILLS
- Proficiency in AWS, SQL, Oracle, and cloud computing technologies.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with PMBOK guidelines for effective project management.
- Experience with databases and data analysis skills for informed decision-making.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong negotiation skills for managing stakeholder expectations and resources.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), Visio, SharePoint for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Leadership qualities to inspire team members towards achieving project goals.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
