Opportunity: ALCOM LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Intern to join our team on a part-time basis. This role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment, providing technical support and assisting with core IT infrastructure tasks. The intern will work closely with our IT team to support end users and gain practical experience with enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities * Set up and configure computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals * Provide desktop support to end users (troubleshooting hardware and software issues) * Assist with user account management and gain hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory * Perform software installations, updates, and system imaging * Maintain and organize IT inventory and equipment * Document technical procedures and support activities * Assist with network and infrastructure tasks as needed * Perform other IT-related duties as assigned Qualifications * Currently pursuing or recently completing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field * Basic understanding of computer hardware and Windows operating systems * Interest in learning Microsoft Active Directory and enterprise IT systems * Strong problem-solving and communication skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical & Other Requirements * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds * Must have reliable transportation * Ability to work up to 20 hours per week What You’ll Gain * Real-world IT experience in a multi-location manufacturing organization * Exposure to enterprise systems and infrastructure * Mentorship from experienced IT professionals * Opportunity to develop technical and professional skills Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled DISCLAIMER: This job description is only a summary of the typical functions of the job and not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible job responsibilities, tasks, and duties.
