Description Work onsite 16-24 hours a week Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support Organize and maintain IT resources Lend IT support in areas such as cybersecurity, programming, analytics, and data center management ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBLITIES Respond to user requests for service, troubleshoot problems and help develop solutions. Support PC hardware components, desktop operating system software, and application software. Perform minor repairs to equipment and arrange for other servicing needs. Identify and report system issues to vendors. Monitor and test resolution of those issues sent to vendors. Monitor antivirus software and updates and repair computers infected with spyware, adware and/or viruses. Record activities, solutions, and other responses to request for service. Assist in maintaining inventory records and documentation for equipment. Contribute to Con Forms technical documentation and participate in policy, procedure, and standards development. Consult with vendors, perform research, and evaluate products to assist in the selection and purchase of equipment and installation or upgrade of systems. Assist users in determining appropriate software solutions to meet needs. Develop and provide user training for basic hardware and software use. Maintains open communication and positive working relationship with staff. Perform other duties/projects as assigned. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS Actively working towards a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field Familiar with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory Administration, Microsoft Windows setup, 0365 Administration, PC Hardware and Software installation Strong verbal and written communication Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work well in teams Strong work ethic and attention to detail ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES Technical Capability Planning and Organizational Skills Strategic Thinking Attention to Detail Communication Skills Flexibility/Adaptability Problem Solving PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and reach above the shoulders Regularly required to move from place to place.
