Description
Duties and Responsibilities: Provide basic technical support to employees, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues Assist with installing, configuring, and updating computer systems, software, and peripherals Support server room organization and optimization, including cable management, labeling, and documentation Assist with network cabling, rewiring, and physical infrastructure improvements to ensure clean, efficient connectivity Support documentation of IT processes, procedures, and system configurations Collaborate with other departments to understand their technical needs and provide IT support solutions that improve workflows and productivity Help maintain inventory of IT equipment and track assets Collaborate with internal teams and external IT vendors when needed Support basic IT security practices and compliance requirements Qualifications: Currently pursuing or recently completed an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Working Conditions: Primarily in an office environment, and shop environment.
