Description
The Opportunity At Wyze, we build smart technology that makes great innovation accessible to everyone. Our IT team supports over 1,000 users across global offices, manufacturing partners, and remote environments. We’re looking for a driven, curious IT Intern to join our team at our Kirkland, Washington headquarters.   This is a full‑time, onsite internship (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) where you’ll work directly with our IT Lead—who oversees systems administration, operations, and service delivery for Wyze’s entire global environment. You’ll gain real‑world experience supporting a dynamic, fast‑growing tech company while helping to advance our IT automation, AI‑driven self‑service, and modernization initiatives. What You’ll Do    * Support the migration from our current on‑call platform to OpsGenie by documenting workflows, assisting in vendor evaluations, and testing automated alert routing and escalation logic. * Participate in implementing a new endpoint backup solution, including pilot rollout, configuration, and user onboarding to ensure secure and automated data resilience. * Help coordinate secure and compliant IT asset disposal—vendor selection, inventory audit, and logistics planning—to streamline Wyze’s asset lifecycle. * Contribute to IT knowledge base improvements and Glean AI integration by organizing documentation, tagging content for AI retrieval, and identifying automation workflows for common IT questions. * Assist in day‑to‑day IT operations, including device provisioning, systems monitoring, and user support, while learning best practices for modern IT management. * Collaborate across teams to document processes, propose workflow improvements, and surface opportunities for automation or AI‑driven enhancements.   What You’ll Bring * Working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field. * Foundational understanding of IT systems (e.g., Windows/macOS management, identity management, SaaS tools, or network fundamentals). * Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously. * Interest in automation, AI‑driven IT solutions, or cloud technologies. * Excellent communication and documentation habits—comfortable capturing processes clearly and improving existing knowledge bases. * A proactive, problem‑solving mindset and willingness to learn from hands‑on projects in a fast‑paced environment.

The intern will support key IT initiatives including migrating to OpsGenie, implementing a new endpoint backup solution, and coordinating secure IT asset disposal.
