Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE AS IT LEAD

  • Craft and maintain a strategic tech roadmap.
  • Build and enhance high-performing teams.
  • Uphold IT quality across the bank, focusing on the Payments & Savings Tribe.
  • Ensure continuity and innovation in IT, responding to evolving customer needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver quality software, drive continuous improvement, and manage resources and talent.
  • Collaborate with the Area Lead and Lead Architect to execute the roadmap.
  • Foster an engineering culture and a safe, motivating environment.
  • Maintain system stability and manage resources, suppliers, and budgets effectively.

TOP RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage IT delivery in a complex environment; challenge the status quo and drive improvement.
  • Ensure an integrated IT approach and align with other projects within and beyond the tribe.
  • Lead in technology across operations, change, and innovation.
  • Manage budgets and improve software development and maintenance efficiency.
  • Adhere to IT frameworks, including security, lifecycle management, and availability.
  • Continuously improve IT practices within the team.
  • Hire, develop, and train IT staff to boost squad productivity and individual growth.
  • Build capabilities and share knowledge across chapters.
  • Focus on innovation and foster an engineering culture.
