Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for an IT Lead based in our Cardiff Studio, who is both hands-on and strategic with a passion for solving real world hardware and software challenges.
In this role, you’ll draw upon your past experience to help us plan and roll out an IT strategy capable of supporting our growing organisation across the globe. You’ll work alongside our larger Workplace function to ensure that our internal teams have the equipment and tools they need to develop some of the biggest games in the world!
You’ll also have the opportunity to not only work directly with our partners to meet the needs of individual projects, but also learn from other teams in the company as they create and maintain video game tools and platforms.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Ensure our global teams have the equipment they need to thrive in their roles (hardware and software).
  • Support software licence and application lifecycles to support varied engineering and business workstreams such as 1password and Github.
  • Setup and manage critical infrastructure and systems.
  • Define and champion IT standards for a fast-growing globally distributed studio.
  • Support hardware (PC, Mac, Console Devkits etc).
  • Establish and maintain a secure, scalable computing environment.
  • Manage and improve our identity access management, remote access solutions and more.
  • Install and manage AV and conference solutions for global collaboration.
  • Create accessible, easy-to-use self-service IT documentation.
  • Facilitate and conduct security audits (ISO27001, SOC2) annually and maintain ongoing compliance.
  • Effectively communicate and liaise with both stakeholders and the wider business.
  • Coach and mentor the IT Team while aligning IT with bigger business goals.
