Job Description:

Responsibilities

The IT Learning & Development Specialist develops and delivers complex training programs on information systems for end users, working under general direction. This role also creates and shares communications, implements change management strategies, and supports initiatives at both the organizational and project level. The IT Learning & Development Specialist applies a broad range of principles and techniques to design and present effective training and change programs.

  • Design, develop, test, and deliver engaging training programs and materials for ERP and web-based business applications, including syllabi, lesson plans, eLearning content, and other training assets.
  • Establish evaluation criteria, assess training effectiveness, and adjust programs based on feedback.
  • Lead major training initiatives with multiple subject modules, coordinating resources across teams and departments.
  • Provide guidance to less experienced educators on training design and technical challenges.
  • Manage and maintain programs such as MDWP Champions, Tech Bytes, and IT Security Awareness.
  • Conduct change and training needs assessments, and create employee-facing communication campaigns (e.g., social media posts, emails, Quick Reference Guides).
  • Travel up to 25% based on project needs.
